Last Friday, Olympic long jump medallist Greg Rutherford re-created the 18ft jump originally undertaken by Tom Cruise in the Mission: Impossible – Fallout the movie, to launch the film being released on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD on December 3rd.

The experience was created as a one-day thrill for competition winners and was staged 10ft above ground against a green screen which had the original landscape footage imposed on it afterwards. Loads of competition winners attempted the jump after Rutherford and were given DVD’s or Blu-rays for their success.

Lorraine Thorne, venue sales manager said ‘it was a real spectacle to behold and a lot further than some had anticipated. Greg smashed his jump and the team were so inspired they all had a go too!’
