Speakers Corner and The Brewery are ripping up the rule book for this summer’s Knowledge Guild

Leading international speaker bureau Speakers Corner (London) Ltd., which recommends over 6,500 speakers, facilitators, hosts and corporate entertainment for over 1,000 events a year, and award-winning London venue The Brewery, have announced the topic of their next Knowledge Guild event on Monday 25 June.

Taking place at the Grade II listed events venue, the latest Knowledge Guild will be titled “Putting Meaning Into Life: How generations are ripping up the rule book”.

A trio of inspirational panellists will discuss how social change is affecting politics, equality, the workplace, the environment, brand interaction and customer transactions.

The event will be hosted by Georgie Barrat, presenter of The Gadget Show, and an impressive line up of speakers, announced today, will be joining the leading technology journalist on stage to consider how millennials and generation Z are challenging us in new ways. The panel will consist of:
Professor Noreena Hertz - a renowned thought leader, broadcaster and author with an impressive track record in predicting global trends. She advises some of the world's leading business and political figures on economic and geo-political risks, artificial intelligence & digital transformation and Generation K- the post-millennials.
Sam Conniff - a multi-award winning serial social entrepreneur, and co-founder who has recently published a new book, Be More Pirate, or How To Take On The World and Win, which is a manifesto for each of us to create the sort of Good Trouble the world needs.
Johnny Cupcakes - will share his story of how he took his t-shirt brand from the trunk of his rusty car at age 19, to disrupting an industry, breaking all of the rules, and being sought after by the largest brands in the world. Johnny has inspired 1,000s of customers to get his company logo tattooed on themselves. He helps others create blueprints for building brand loyalty, creating memorable experiences, and inspiring innovation.

Guests are also treated to a pre and post talk reception where they can enjoy the latest dishes from The Brewery’s dynamic kitchen brigade. This month’s event will see guests enjoy a reception in the venues 18th century cobbled courtyard, under the cover of their newly erected summer marquees.

The Knowledge Guild is a partnership between The Brewery and Speakers Corner, offering a mixture of world-class speakers and exceptional individuals discussing pertinent topics in a panel discussion.

Nick Gold, Managing Director at Speakers Corner, comments: “We always look forward to our quarterly Knowledge Guild events, in partnership with our friends at The Brewery, and this one is no exception!

The rule-book is being ripped up as society demands we begin to prioritise people over products. Our speaker line-up will inspire our audience to not just think differently, but to innovate and build powerful relationships between brands and customers.

The Speakers Corner team has worked hard pulling together a show-stopping line up who will provide fascinating discussions and insights exploring generational differences and how the rule book is changing. Each thought leader will offer their unique take on the transitions we are currently going through in this exciting journey to discover how we can all prosper during this exciting period in our history”.
