Highgate House and Woodside have achieved Green Star Certifications for 2018 from IACC as a result of their commitment to sustainability.
Highgate House in Northamptonshire is amongst just five venues internationally that has received the highest Platinum status, while Woodside in Warwickshire has achieved Gold status.

IACC has a rigorous Code of Sustainability which includes 60 tenets in areas including waste management, recycling, purchasing, energy management and food and beverage. Venues that achieve 100% of the Code qualify for Platinum and those that achieve 85% qualify for Gold.

The highly rated certifications are testament to Sundial Group's ongoing dedication to protecting the environment, embarking on many sustainability initiatives including extensive recycling, conserving energy and reducing food waste.

By signing the Code of Sustainability, Highgate House and Woodside have agreed to support IACC’s Environmental Policy, to adopt the tenets of the code, and join other members of the association to continually strive for greater sustainability.

Sundial’s Managing Director, Tim Chudley, said: “This international standard has helped us to develop and measure our commitment to sustainability, minimising our impact on the environment and growing our commitment to responsible business and our local communities. We know this matters to our people and our customers, and it demonstrates how much we care as an owner managed, values driven business.”
