Business Events Canada set to host its Annual European Canada Week

Business Events Canada (BEC) and their partners are set to return to Europe this September for their annual series of roadshows designed to promote the country’s world class meeting, conventions & incentive travel offerings to local meetings and incentive agencies.

The high profile events in UK and France will provide attendees with invaluable networking opportunities and practical advice on holding business events in Canada whilst helping them get up to speed with all the latest news and developments, from technological advances to new hotels, venues and incentive travel options.

The first event will be held in Paris at 6.30pm on Monday 18th September at the Official Residence of the Ambassador of Canada to France, located at 135, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, 75008, Paris. The second event will be held in London at 5.30pm on Thursday 21st September at Canada House, 1 Trafalgar Square.

Chantal Sturk-Nadeau, Executive Director of BEC, commented: “The European Annual Canada Week is set up to create a platform for our Canadian partners to meet with new prospective and qualified buyers and showcase their product or destination to generate new opportunities and ultimately confirmed business. Canada is considered one of the most beautiful countries on earth with its chic, connected cities on the doorstep of pristine wilderness and these flagship events showcase the endless options available to European meeting and event planners.

Emma Cashmore, the European representative for BEC, commented: “Business Events Canada has been running the Annual Canada Week roadshow since 2009 and each year adapted the format to meet the needs of the buyers, whilst staying current and highlighting to the industry that Canada knows how to host international business events.  We are thrilled with this years’ concept and what is in store for Paris and London where we have created a series of events that will allow room for networking, interaction and education, whilst providing a take home for the guests in attendance”.
