Summer Menu & August savings at Farmers & Fletchers in the City

Until the end of August, London based conference, meetings and private dining venue, Farmers & Fletchers in the City is encouraging customers to dine with the season by offering menu choices created using summer ingredients sourced from specialist independent suppliers.

Seasonal seafood, meat, poultry and vegetables feature on the Summer Menu. For example, crab and chervil crusted pork fillet, sautéed new potatoes, lemon butter sauce and summer vegetables, or braised English rabbit with artichoke, pea and new potato fricassee, freshwater crayfish and marjoram.

According to Farmers & Fletchers in the City’s head chef, David Summerell:  “Because of our farming links, celebrating the best of seasonal food is a tradition we’re proud to uphold as it means we can support the British farming industry.

“Our beef, lamb and chicken are mainly supplied by two well respected butchers, Ashby’s Butchers and The Butcher of Brogdale. Both suppliers take a pride in following traditional principles of hanging and maturing meat slowly to provide excellent quality and taste.”

The summer months are also a great time for desserts with an abundance of fresh fruits. New deserts created by head chef, David Summerell include summer berry jelly and elderflower posset with lavender shortbread.

Daily deliveries of the best seasonal fruit is supplied by Sheringhams, who are based in New Covent Garden and have been in the business of supplying quality produce for 100-years.

Clients making a booking before the end of July for a last minute event during August 2016 will be offered a generous 10 per cent discount off food, room hire and selected packages.
