Ston Easton Park in Somerset offers Downton Abbey corporate experience

Ston Easton Park, a lavish country pile in the heart of Somerset, has created a Downton Abbey-style corporate escape giving businesses and their staff the chance to be more ‘lord of the manor’ than ‘bored delegate’ during meetings, conferences and team-building excursions.

The package provides exclusive-use of the Grade 1 listed Palladian Mansion, its idyllic Gardener’s Cottage and its 36 acres of beautifully landscaped parkland for a full 21 hours and throughout, guests will be beautifully looked after by Ston Easton Park’s attentive staff.

Groups can be waited on hand and foot and enjoy decadent dinners, lavish afternoon teas and cocktails on the terrace and for a more unusual take on a team-building experience, they can venture ‘below stairs’ to the lovingly preserved Georgian kitchen, complete with its original Aga, range and copper pots and pans and enjoy cookery demonstrations with the Head Chef. Wine tastings, hot air balloon flights and country pursuits including clay pigeon shooting and archery can all be arranged too.

Ston Easton Park has 23 bedrooms and can accommodate anything from 12 to 100 people in its unique meeting spaces which include a Grand Saloon, an intimate Library and a flamboyant Yellow Dining Room.

An opulent antidote to the usual faceless conference rooms, curling sandwiches and stewed tea of regular corporate offerings, exclusive use of Ston Easton Park costs from £5000, with food and drink packages costing from £55 per person.
