Called ‘Data, Design and Disruption’, the evening looked at the innovations shaking up the tech industry, including the shady scene of cybercrime. Joining the panel, led by Women’s Editor of The Telegraph Emma Barnett, were tech illumines Dan Cobly the former Managing Director of Google UK; Gemma Milne, creative lab technologist at Ogilvy Labs; and Channel 4 TV news journalist Geoff White.
The audience were treated to food and drink, courtesy of The Brewery’s in-house catering team, which included bowls from their Brazilian inspired BBQ menu. The menu featured flank steak and chimichurri, sea food rice salads, ginger and mint lamb, belly of pork with feijoada salad and mixed barbecue vegetables. After speaker desserts were also served as panellists and guests networked while enjoying condensed milk crème caramel, churro’s with bitter chocolate sauce and dulce latte cheesecake.
