Ragley Hall to host 'Midlands Home and Garden show'

Midlands Home and Garden show at Ragley Hall
Ragley Hall in Warwickshire is to host the Midlands Home & Garden Show for the first time from 13 – 15 May from 10am - 5pm. Held in Marquees adjacent to the lake and children’s play area, the show is a great opportunity to buy from specialists in home, garden and food products such as garden nurseries, designers and furniture, home ware, crafts, gifts, jewellery, clothing, accessories, artwork and children’s toys.

Over 60 exhibitors will be show-casing their ranges of innovative, interesting and in some cases, new products. The show provides a relaxed environment to meet, talk with and learn from suppliers.

In addition visitors can visit the Cookery Theatre for free which is headed up by Ragley’s own head chef Rachel Tudor and see and question the experts. For the gardening enthusiasts there is Gardening Question Time with Ragley’s head gardener Mark Morrell. Visitors can question and learn from local experts as well as bring along plant cuttings for identification or advice to improve poor growth.

There will also be a Fine Food marquee featuring local suppliers offering delicious foods with an emphasis on quality of taste using fine ingredients. The craft marquee includes artisans, showcasing their special skills with the opportunity to buy their products.

Ragley’s Terrace Café will also be serving freshly prepared light lunches, afternoon teas, and home-made cakes.  Harry’s Bar will also be open for alcoholic beverages and the Lakeside Lodge, located next to the Adventure Wood, will be serving ice-creams and snacks. The magnificent Hall, which is the family home to the Marquess & Marchioness of Hertford and its stunning gardens, will also be open for visitors to admire.

Hilary Philpott, House Manager at Ragley stated “We are delighted to host the Home & Garden show for the first time. With a range of exciting products to suit everyone’s tastes and entry into Ragley Hall included in the ticket prices, the show is a great day out for all the family!”

The ticket price includes entry to Ragley Hall, gardens, grounds, restaurant, farm and children’s play area. Tickets are £10.50 for adults, £9.00 for concessions and £6.50 for accompanied children.
