The South Lawn sits at the rear of the Palace, away from the main visitor attraction entrance and can be privately accessed making it the perfect space for private hire..
The marquee has accommodated events such as The Grand Prix Ball. The exclusive event held at Blenheim Palace marked the launch of an exclusive title partnership between the iconic Lotus F1 Team, and The Grand Prix Ball 2015 which took place on Friday 3rd July.
The event catered for over 450 people, beginning with a drinks reception in the Great Hall and Saloon and finishing with a glittering Dinner Dance in the South Lawn Marquee. Complete set up and close down took the events team and Ascot Structures, who supplied the Grand Prix Ball marquee, 10 days.
Head of Operations, Heather Carter says: “The 2015 Grand Prix Ball is a fabulous example of the type of exciting and large scale event that Blenheim Palace can accommodate using the South Lawn Marquee space. Although the South Lawn is available for corporate hire throughout the year, hosting a summer event on this side of the Palace makes for a beautiful sunset and capitalises on the wonderful views.”
