Comedian Marcus Brigstocke to host EVCOM Screen Awards 2016

Marcus Brigstocke
Marcus Brigstocke will host the 2016 EVCOM Screen Awards at the Lindley Hall in Westminster on Thursday 28th April, celebrating excellence in corporate communication.
Marcus is regarded as a major comedy, writing and acting talent, performing stand up nationally to sell-out audiences both on tour and on the well-trodden comedy circuit.

He is a master of satirical comedy as witnessed on his own long running Radio 4 comedy show, The Brig Society and his regular appearances on Radio 4’s The Now Show. He’s no stranger to the small screen with numerous credits including Have I Got News for You, Argumental and Live at the Apollo, while his big screen credits include a cameo in Love Actually.

Marcus has also found himself more recently treading the boards of the West End with a critically acclaimed performance as King Arthur in Monty Python's Spamalot and as Station Master Perks in the Railway Children.

EVCOM Chairman Steve Garvey enthused: "Marcus is the perfect choice to navigate us through an evening of celebration, comedy and entertainment. His blisteringly satirical wit means he will take no prisoners, so hecklers beware!"
