The event, organised by IFEMA, will hold its upcoming edition between 5 and 7 February in Halls 2, 12 and 14 of Feria de Madrid
The upcoming edition of MOMAD Metrópolis, the International Textile and Accessories Trade Fair, is set to take place from 5 to 7 February at Feria de Madrid. It will be bolstering its international presence thanks to a promising programme for International Buyers and Press, with a view to enhancing its promotion, becoming more dynamic and opening up new markets for exhibiting firms.
The programme represents a qualitative and quantitative leap compared to previous editions, when the fair encompassed the entire fashion industry. Thanks to this programme some forty retailers and independent fashion distribution chains will be attending from a variety of geographical areas the world over that are of particular interest to the Spanish market, including Italy, the Netherlands, Chile, the USA, Germany, Dubai, Kazakhstan, Russia, Portugal, France, Mexico and Slovakia. The programme is expected to grow stronger as more editions are held, backed by different associations in the sector with the key aim of boosting exports for the companies taking part.
As on previous occasions, in addition to the buyers programme, there will be an international press plan to attract industry leaders from the various countries that are strategically relevant for promoting the Spanish fashion industry.
Adding to MOMAD Metrópolis's potential for attracting these buyers and press members is the fact that it will be held on the same dates as Intergift, Bisutex and MadridJoya, making this the biggest trade gathering focused on fashion and trends in southern Europe. All together, these different events organised by IFEMA are expected to attract more than 3,000 companies and over 43,000 visitors from 80 countries.
MOMAD Metrópolis will be held in halls 2, 12 and 14 at Feria de Madrid, and will open all day from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on the first two days of the event, and from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on the last day.
