PACE 2017 Conference and Trade Show heads to Québec City

Close to 1,000 EMTs, firefighters, and other paramedical practitioners from a variety of sectors, including a big contingent from the Canadian Armed Forces, will travel from all over Canada to gather in Québec City on August 18 and 19, 2017.
None other than legendary explorer Samuel de Champlain, also known as Régis Fleury of Québec City Business Destination, was at PACE 2015, the Conference and trade show of the Paramedic Association of Canada (PAC) that took place in Edmonton from October 1 to 3, 2015, to issue the invitation. PAC is an organization of over 14,000 paramedic members from coast to coast to coast.

The Québec City Convention Centre will host the event, which includes a trade show, in addition to professional development, lectures, and simulations. Displays will feature heavy equipment used by the Canadian Armed Forces paramedics, such as the 13-ton Bison armoured ambulance and the 5.25-ton light support vehicle wheeled (LSVW).

PACE 2015 in Edmonton was a big hit, and it’s a good bet that the next event two years from now, with Québec City as a backdrop and Valcartier Military Base right nearby, will be another resounding success. PACE 2017 is expected to generate at least $1 million in economic spinoffs for Québec’s capital.
