De Vere Venues Partner with Chillisauce to launch Bear Grylls Survival Academy Ultimate Teambuilding Package

Bear Grylls Survival Academy Ultimate Teambuilding Package
Following the success of the adventure TV show ‘The Island with Bear Grylls’, De Vere Venues has announced a partnership with Chillisauce – a leading creative event specialist – to launch the Bear Grylls Survival Academy Ultimate Teambuilding Package across five of their key venues, offering delegates an ultimate survival experience of their own.

Designed and delivered by Bear’s personal team of highly trained experts, the package combines high performance teamwork using natural instinct and survival techniques to bring out the best in a delegate’s cohesion, leadership and team building skills. Activities include fire lighting, shelter building, wild food cooking, water purification, rope skills, crossing difficult ground, abseiling and traverses.

The package is available across five De Vere Venues - New Place in Southampton, Hampshire, Theobalds Park in Chestnut, Hertfordshire, Milton Hill House in Steventon, Oxfordshire, Horsley Park in East Horsley, Surrey and Latimer Place in Chesham, Buckinghamshire – and takes advantage of each venue’s extensive outdoor space, including ancient woodlands, to deliver real life challenges and tangible outcomes.

Ian Conder, Group Sales Director at De Vere Venues commented: “Each of the five participating venues offer the outdoor space, facilities and flexibility needed to immerse delegates into a survival experience, challenging the way they perform and work as a team. We are committed to constantly improving our corporate offering, and delivering innovative, creative and effective team-building packages is a crucial element of this.”

Delegates have the option of combining the team-building activities with an 8 hour meeting room hire and an energising lunch to form the half day package, or three course dinner and overnight accommodation to form the full day package.

James Diment, the Head of Projects & Operations at Chillisauce commented: “We are delighted to announce our new partnership with the Bear Grylls Survival Academy & De Vere Venues, offering this unique, exhilarating and challenging team-building product across five of their venues. This experience empowers people to learn core skills that not only might save their lives, but will undoubtedly increase team cohesion and resourcefulness. Most importantly, De Vere Venues offer the facilities and attitude to help make this happen.”
