Over 200 guests enjoyed an evening filled with Ibiza beach club vibes, while exploring the new look outdoor terrace, following the extensive refurbishment of Building Six, The O2’s standalone superclub earlier this year.
Guests were greeted on arrival with King Bloom jam jar cocktails courtesy of Peppermint Bars and festival-inspired name badges before heading to the terrace where a street food avenue designed by Light Motif awaited them featuring three food stalls and an interactive light bulb feature in the middle of the bar, which reacted to tweets referencing #IbizaDocks.
Harbour & Jones Events provided various foodie delights including a Brick Lane Curry stall, Korean Yum Bun stall and Mexican-themed stall, as well as beach-themed puddings complete with digestive biscuit crumbled sand and Haribo fish.
This is Luma kept guests entertained with an interactive graffiti wall and the Yr Designer, allowed guests to design and print their own Ibiza-style t-shirts and bags. Interactive Instagram technology was provided on the night by Social Playground.
The evening also featured a set from one of LWE’s hottest DJs. Becci Thomson, Business Development Manager at The O2, said: “We are thrilled with the successful re-launch of the outdoor terrace space at Building Six. We wanted to create a desirable outdoor space for guests to enjoy and on a sunny day the terrace really does feel like you’re somewhere like Ibiza. “The great thing about the terrace is that we can hold events come rain or shine. A little bit of rain won’t put a dampener on an event and thanks to Palmers Tents’ unique stretch tent our guests were kept warm and dry throughout the night.
“The terrace is a great space for summer events and is particularly flexible meaning we can cater for smaller summer parties of 200 to larger 700-capacity events. We also have the ability to bring everything inside too, with space for up to 3,000 guests inside Building Six.”
