Banking Hall becomes location for Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé’s Christmas music video

Banking Hall filming of Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé’s Christmas music video
Exclusive events space Banking Hall is fast becoming one of London’s most popular filming locations, having recently been chosen as the venue for singers Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé’s cover of  ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’ which has now achieved over 3million YouTube views.

Since opening its doors after a £1million refurbishment in June 2014, the former home of Lloyds Banking Group’s headquarters has played host to three major forthcoming film releases and a number of TV production companies.

Inspired by Bublé’s signature 1920s style, the Banking Hall provides the perfect setting for the music video, with its grand Art Deco design enhancing the glamour of the festive season.

The Grade II listed Main Hall is transformed into a hotel lobby as a pair of youngsters dressed in speakeasy outfits dance and mime to the remake of the Christmas classic. Featuring vintage concierge trollies and decorated Christmas trees, it’s the magnificent 300 square metre floor reinstated with its original design that takes centre stage throughout.

Claire Lawson, managing director of Camm and Hooper says: “Banking Hall has been designed to impress and we are thrilled to have such recognised stars use it as the setting for their Christmas video. Menzel and Bublé’s classic style and genre of music married with the glamour of our venue are the perfect union.”

Now a flexible events space, Banking Hall has the capability to hold a range of events from award-led dinners and weddings, to conferences and exhibitions.
