Gordon Ramsay celebrates the opening of Bread Street Kitchen & Bar Hong Kong

The world-renowned chef, Gordon Ramsay, Sandeep Sekhri, the Managing Director of Dining Concepts, Gilles Bosquet, Head Chef of Bread Street Kitchen & Bar Hong Kong and Stuart Gillies, the Managing Director of Gordon Ramsay Group, are in Hong Kong to celebrate the grand opening of Bread Street Kitchen & Bar today.

They were on hand to welcome a guest list that included local dignitaries and membersof the trade and media from around the world.

“This is an exciting step, entering the amazing food culture of the Asian market with one of our successful London concepts,” said Gordon Ramsay.

He added, “I’m excited to be in the heart of Lan Kwai Fong, it’s a vibrant, lively place for everyone.”

“We have also tried the local famous braised pork belly, Chinese Beijing duck, and other delicious dishes which gave us a great night!”

“There are five flights per day from London to Hong Kong, and it’s so convenient being able to fly into Hong Kong in just 12 hours! It’s amazing how accessible it is and the teams here and I will be back and forth a lot.”

“Bread Street Kitchen menu uses specially imported British artisanal products with local influences (as well as local products) – Tamarind Spiced Chicken Wings with spring onions and corianderhas some Asian twist. So that gives some local influences tailored to suit the local market.”


Gordon Ramsay says, "You’d better get used to us; we have more plans for Asia and are looking at plans for Macau."

Bread Street Kitchen & Bar is his first venture into the Asian market debuts at the Lan Kwai Fong Hotel, just a short stroll from Hong Kong’s iconic nightlife precinct.

The extensive menu at Bread Street Kitchen & Bar, Hong Kong showcases British favourites reinvented by the multi-Michelin starred chef at the brand’s London flagship.

The restaurant interior introduces the signature British European fare in a lively warehouse-style venue at 33 Wyndham Street, Central. Vintage and modern décor, a design styled on the London edition, sets the relaxed tone for the bustling all-day restaurant with bar.
