ICC Birmingham invites brands to share in future plans

The purpose built conference centre is looking to partner with forward thinking companies that share its ambitious growth plans and innovative approach to business. Its position in the heart of Birmingham offers brands the chance to gain widespread exposure in the vibrant city and beyond.

The ICC Birmingham, part of the NEC Group, hosts more than 350 events and 300,000 delegates each year. By partnering with the venue, brands will gain access to thousands of professionals who regularly attend business and networking events. Those looking to reach a younger demographic can also benefit; Birmingham has recently been declared Europe’s youngest city.

The unique Mall within the ICC provides further opportunities, as the central thoroughfare that links Birmingham's Brindleyplace and Convention Quarter to the rest of the City Centre. Birmingham is currently undergoing a number of exciting improvements including Birmingham Airport runway extension, the redevelopment of the NIA, New Street station and Paradise Circus, there has never been a better time to get involved.

The ICC’s vision is to become Europe’s most welcoming, inspiring and creative venue where people share ideas that shape the future. The intention is to develop truly integrated partnerships where products and services are integrated into the day to day operations, so that brands can fully connect and engage with clients and delegates. This is a valuable chance to utilise the ICC’s status as the leading conference centre in the UK to secure links with some of the most influential business leaders and the world’s largest associations.

The team has over 23 years experience, and it is testament to their expertise that so many clients choose to keep returning – next year the British Small Animals Veterinary Association will return to for their 25th Annual Congress, and later this month the ICC will host the prestigious Conservative Party Conference for the fourth time. The convention centre has also won a number of new contracts and multi-year deals in recent months including Specsavers, the British Orthopaedic Association, Vauxhall, Kia, Association of Colleges, Savers, SAP User group and Britain’s Got Talent.

Nick Waight, Managing Director of Group Convention Centres says: “Within the last 12 months we have undertaken a number of projects to offer new and existing clients an enhanced experience, following extensive qualitative and quantitative customer research. We are looking to secure integrated brand partnerships to help us to establish our position as Europe’s leading conference venue. At the ICC we are driven by creating mutually beneficial partnerships, and this is a fantastic opportunity for like-minded brands to gain a platform to reach some of the most influential business people in Europe.”

In addition to agreed benefits, brands will be able to utilise the venue for their conference, exhibition and meeting needs, and will also have the opportunity to capitalise on the ICC’s central Birmingham location for office and retail space.
