Brunel Commercial Conferences and Events to host UK Body Building and Fitness Federation (UKBFF) English Grand Prix

Brunel Commercial Conferences and Events, the meetings offering at Brunel University, today announces that it will host the first UKBFF English Grand Prix taking place on 19th July.
The event, organised by UKBFF and Panthers Gym, is for 35 of the best UK bodybuilders to compete against each other in categories such as Under 80kg Bodybuilding and Olympic Bodybuilding and is expected to attract around 1,500 people.

Brunel’s Director of Commercial Services, Tracy Strachan, says: “We are excited to be working with UKBFF to host this inaugural event.

“Brunel boasts an Olympic-standard international athletics centre and a sports park used by Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt and the Jamaican Olympic team therefore we are geared up to host these types of sporting events.”

Sean O'Reilly Head of Education for UKBFF and owner of Panthers Gym says: “Brunel University was chosen as it is an education establishment with excellent sporting facilities, hotel, eateries and car parking as well as being close to Panthers Gym.

“There are various educational courses held at Panthers Gym and Brunel Students have studied nutrition, weight training prescription as well as their personal training courses here and whenever the courses run we ensure the professor and students book into the venue’s onsite hotel during the course.  We feel it is important to support the local community and couldn't think of a better place to be associated with for this inaugural event.”
