New rooftop pop-up cinema to screen National Theatre stage favourites

The Deck at night

One Man, Two Guvnors and London Assurance out on The Deck

Theatre buffs and film fans roll up, roll up! For one week only – 11-16 August 2014 – the National Theatre’s rooftop events venue The Deck is lifting the curtains on its pop-up summer cinema club and you’re invited.

If you missed James Corden’s Tony Award-winning performance in critically acclaimed comedy One Man, Two Guvnors or failed to secure tickets for Dion Boucicault’s sparkling Victorian comedy, London Assurance with Simon Russell Beale and Fiona Shaw you can book your comfy deck chair now to enjoy exclusive screenings of these on-stage hits, surrounded by spectacular views of London’s skyline from The Deck’s panoramic terrace. Both productions were filmed live on stage while they were playing at the NT.

Tickets are available from 7 July and priced at £25 for adults and £20 for children (18 or under), including a personal film fan’s feast of a loaded Brazilian hot dog, sweet and salted popcorn and a welcome drink. London Assurance will show at 1:30pm daily and One Man, Two Guvnors screenings are at 7:00pm.
