Park Crescent Conference Centre unveils new theatre with masterclass event

Park Crescent Conference Centre
Over 80 delegates attended the Park Crescent Conference Centre (PCCC) yesterday for an ‘Event Planning Masterclass’. The event was organised to celebrate the official reopening of the venue’s largest conference/events space, The Theatre, following a £250k makeover.

Held in The Theatre by speaker and event practitioner Chris Powell, the free afternoon masterclass offered event professionals the chance to build on skills and gain practical knowledge about organising events and venue selection.

The masterclass, attended by members of TAG Global Events, Adam Smith Conferences, Hertz Dollar Thrifty, Cancer Research UK, Royal Academy of Engineering and Bupa, was followed by a celebratory drinks and canapés reception in the Gulbenkian room, which overlooks the beautiful private Park Crescent Gardens opposite Regent’s Park.

The £250k new look Theatre hosts 300 delegates seated and has a public entertainment licence of 620. This versatile space has an elevated stage, new central lighting rig and interchangeable black and white side panels to create the perfect atmosphere (day to night with the flick of a switch). A dedicated entrance lobby comes with two registration desks and a cloakroom facility.
