Unique partnership formed for Christmas 2014LSO St Luke’s and Moving Venue have announced a new partnership for 2014’s Christmas season whereby the two organisations will promote the Grade I listed venue for upscale events.
The partnership marks a change in direction of the venue’s management of their Christmas offering and, for the first time since opening in 2003, enables clients to book the venue directly. This exciting venture will be promoted by both parties to their existing client bases as well as attracting other potential guests from The City and in the nearby Silicon Roundabout area.
LSO St Luke’s is home to the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) and marries spacious contemporary interiors with commanding 18th-century architecture. Capable of entertaining up to 450 guests, Christmas events will be subtly styled by drawing on the venue’s historical influences, while flavoursome, regional and seasonal dishes will pack a punch. Priced from £95 + VAT per person, packages include venue hire, festive styling, a range of menus and a selection of drinks.
LSO St Luke’s beautiful Jerwood Hall boasts integrated sound, lighting and projection facilities, and by choosing to hold their parties at LSO St Luke’s clients will help to underpin the LSO’s outreach work in local East London schools and communities.
LSO St Luke’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Victoria Steinitz, commented, “We are really excited about our new Christmas venture with Moving Venue – easily our most popular caterer. The opportunity to work together on this partnership feels like a natural step for our teams and we’re thrilled to be able to welcome new and existing clients into the beautiful Jerwood Hall for an evening of delicious food, unsurpassed service and eminently enjoyable entertainment.”
Richard Beggs, Moving Venue’s Managing Director, said, “We have enjoyed a long relationship with this stunning venue and are absolutely delighted to cement our partnership in this way. LSO St Luke’s embodies London’s unique event spaces and we are looking forward to putting our plans into action and creating a fantastic Christmas experience for everyone.”
