Some of the best-known brands in Britain opted to stage their Christmas events at Longleat in Wiltshire, and all of the feedback appears to suggest that the attraction could become the leader of the pack when it comes to hosting corporate experiences with a difference.
The John Lewis Partnership, for example - a market leader, these days, when it comes to helping everyone else enjoy Christmas - opted to hire Longleat exclusively for their very own “Christmas at Longleat” event.
Another of Santa’s little helpers, Tesco booked dinner in the Green Library at Longleat, while AM Digital opted to book their dinner in the Great Hall.
Twinings booked meeting venues, distributed day tickets and Christmas Day tickets, took a private Bus Tour and a behind-the-scenes tour of Longleat House, and included ice-skating in its Christmas events.
And while Mini sent in an entire convoy of cars to Longleat, Mackrell Turner Garrett Solicitors opted for a combination of lunch, VIP tours and a House tour.
“Christmas was our first real venture into corporate events on this kind of scale,” explains Longleat Sales Manager, Anna Walton. “And it’s proved so successful, and popular, that we will definitely be offering the same again next year - as well on various other high days and holidays throughout the year. The response has been fantastic”.
Tesco’s reaction to holding their event at Longleat noted that, “Every single guest thoroughly enjoyed the evening.”
“The tour of the house was magnificent, the musicians, the magician, the food, and the service was excellent throughout the whole of the evening.”
Twinings also gave some excellent feedback “Everyone had a great time, and good feedback was received by all”.
Chemring Countermeasures Ltd noted: “Our employees are still talking about what an amazing day they had. Everyone I saw had big grins on their faces.”
