2016 marks the second year that Three, the only UK network that allows its customers to use their phones abroad at no extra cost in 18 destinations, including Austria, has hit the slopes for Snowbombing. Festival attendees on Three will have the freedom to Facebook, Tweet and Instagram their antics without the worry of a hefty bill.
Three will also host a number of branded experiential areas across the festival as well as sponsoring Snowbombing’s legendary Forest Parties which fall on the penultimate and final night of the festival and act as the perfect send-off for the legions of Snowbombers.
With a further line-up still to be revealed, The Forest Party will see indie electro pop maestros Bastille and electronic due Bondax open proceedings on the Thursday while The Prodigy and Mistajam are set to bring the festival to a spectacular close on Friday.
Festival Director Gareth Cooper said: “After the successful collaboration in 2015 we’re delighted to continue the partnership for the second year running. Three is a great alignment for our brand and offering customers the chance to use their phones abroad at no extra cost not only maximizes engagement with our audiences but enhances our customer experience.”
Pippa Whybourne, Lead Communications Manager at Three said: “We’re incredibly excited to once again be working with Broadwick Live and integrate our network across the Snowbombing site. The festival is completely unique and always puts customer experience first, something we also take very seriously at Three. We hope our experiential areas are just as popular as last year and that festival goers enjoy the freedom of using their phone, just as they would at home, to document their very own festival experience.”
Snowbombing takes place from 4 – 9 April 2016 in the beautiful alpine town of Mayrhofen in Austria and boasts some of the most awe-inspiring venues in the world, from mountaintop igloos to cosy alpine lodges and a plethora of bars, clubs and speakeasies. Further acts for 2016 include Andy C, Craig David’s TS5, Jamie Jones, Jungle, Netsky, Skepta, Fatboy Slim, Sven Väth, Groove Armada and many many more.
