Guidebook triples growth and expands team across Europe and Asia Pacific

Guidebook has expanded its team across Europe and Asia Pacific with five new recruits, after tripling its revenues in the last 12 months for its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) regions combined. New clients to adopt the Guidebook platform in the last year include Benefit Cosmetics, Centaur Media, University of Oxford (Saïd Business School), Shell, Tetra Pak, Etihad Airways and Telegraph Events Ltd.

The company has seen demand for its scalable app platform soar, with a significant increase in clients adopting Guidebook across multiple events thanks to the ease of use, scalability and flexibility of the system.

Guidebook opened its EMEA headquarters office in London in April 2014 and has since expanded its London team to nine, most recently adding Justin Lamb to the role of Customer Service Advisor, Richard Rowe as Account Executive and Doris Wolflmaier in Marketing.  In APAC, Guidebook has established offices in Korea and also covers Hong Kong and Singapore, recruiting two new staff to its customer success team in the region.

Over the last year, Guidebook noticed that engagement tools within their apps were becoming increasingly popular, particularly in relation to event apps. In response, Guidebook developed Interact, a unique dynamic activity feed that creates an interactive home screen. Interact enables delegates to participate in timely conversations, access relevant content, network with peers, comment on notifications and more, all achieved quickly and easily directly from the home screen of the app.  Interact is the next step in the engagement evolution, allowing delegates to make the most of every moment during an event.
