Accessibility
Exceptionally easy access is another big selling point of this little, landlocked island in the heart of Europe. Switzerland is easy to reach from anywhere in the world thanks to extensive flight connections from its five international airports.

Our cities have some of the world’s shortest airport transfers. In Geneva for example it takes only 6 minutes to get from the airport to the city centre with public transport. If your destination is further afield your journey is part of the experience as you travel past the most stunning scenery in style on a public transport network that is the envy of the world.

The Chedi Andermatt has won the European Hotel Design Award for Best Bedrooms and Bathrooms.   Designed by  ‘design guru’ and ‘living legend’ of hotel design Jean-Michel Gathy, Chief Designer at Denniston International Architects, The Chedi Andermatt opened in December 2013.

Michelin Star food in Arosa, Switzerland

From the 8th-11th January 2015 the annual Gourmet Tour will return to the Tschuggen Grand Hotel in Arosa, featuring six leading European chefs.  


The culinary event will be overseen by Michelin starred, Tobias Jochim, Head Chef at the hotel’s La Vetta restaurant in collaboration with Dieter Müller, one of Germany’s most respected and experienced chefs, who has 3 Michelin Stars and 19 Gault&Millau points.
