Lausanne Tourisme & Convention Bureau welcomes Hotel Aquatis as new addition to destination's hotel offering
Lausanne Tourisme & Convention Bureau this week saw the official opening of the new three star superior hotel and conference centre, Hotel Aquatis. The 143 bedroom hotel will offers a dedicated conference and training centre within one wing of the site. The site will also feature a state-of-the-art fresh water aquarium complex, which will open at the end of 2016. The new conference hotel offers bespoke dining and networking events for visitors and delegates and a restaurant within the hotel.

From 15 June to 23 August, 2015, Zürich’s Baur au Lac, one of Europe’s grandest hotels and a long-time favourite of the world’s jet set, will be hosting Art in the Park XIII. This year’s exhibition is devoted to British Pop artist, Allen Jones, and will feature six of his large, stylized sculptures in the landscaped grounds of the hotel. The sculptures, including “Man About Town” and “Echo,” focus on abstract sinuous forms in interlocking sheets of painted steel.
