Travel Technology Europe commits to innovation with Launchpad to support 15 start-ups

As registration opens for Travel Technology Europe, the largest event of its kind in Europe, the show is calling on start-ups to put themselves forward for Launchpad to apply for a free show stand. Launchpad will showcase 15 of the most innovative and exciting start-ups to the show's 6,000+ attendees.

Launchpad premiered in 2016 and offers start-ups the chance to receive extensive marketing support, exposure to the show's attendees and an entry into the Travel Technology Disrupt Award, the winner of which receives a full-sized stand worth £8,000 at the next year's show. Last year Travel Technology Europe increased its investment in innovation by doubling the size of Launchpad. This means that up to 15 start-ups can now exhibit for free at the show.

As well as providing support for start-ups, Launchpad has proved a hit with visitors as they benefit from being introduced to disruptive technology and the opportunity to build early relationships with the future titans of travel technology.

Last year's Travel Technology Europe Disrupt Award was won by Wanderpay (previously Flyto), a ground breaking new service that allows travellers to pay for flights in easy, fixed monthly instalments rather than upfront in one go. Wanderpay has enabled its customers to boost their conversion rates and average order values.  Wanderpay is already confirmed to return to Travel Technology Europe in 2018 to exhibit, alongside more than 130 leading travel technology suppliers.

To apply for a free stand in the Travel Technology Europe Launchpad, businesses must have been established for three years or less. The application form must be completed and returned by 1 December 2017 and successful applicants will be notified by 12 January 2018.
