Travel Counsellors to exhibit at Business Travel Show following corporate surge

Travel Counsellors for Business is exhibiting at the Business Travel Show for the first time in 2017 as part of GTMC, following an increase in Q4 FY16 sales by 9% compared to the previous year.

As a business we’re committed to investing £21million this year in supporting our travel specialists and developing our digital infrastructure to further enhance the client experience and expand our business travel offering.  Exhibiting at the Business Travel show is a first for us, and we’re excited to showcase how our unique model can benefit potential new clients”.  

Travel Counsellors has seen a strong response to its focus on exceptional customer service, with a 22% increase in turnover from £136m to £166m globally (31 October 2015), winning the Amazon Growing Business of the Year Award 2016.  In particular, the business has seen a 13 per cent increase globally in sales made through the in-house quote and booking platform enabling efficient, flexible processes for fast turnaround times and personalised travel plans based around individual preferences and business needs.  This year will also see Phase 2 of the ‘myTC’ client app and launch of the online self-booking platform.  

The Business Travel Show, held annually in London for 23 years, is Europe’s largest specialised exhibition and conference bringing together 7,700 European travel professionals. This event provides business travel buyers and managers with the suppliers, knowledge and contacts to help create and develop successful travel programmes.  The show provides the opportunity to meet with 7,600 professionals from across the European business travel community. From peer-to-peer and supplier networking sessions to informal social events, the event allows attendees to build new relationships and to share knowledge and best practice.
