MPI UK and Ireland Chapter, the UK Centre for Events Management and The Conference and Hospitality Show (CHS) have worked together to create the first ‘MPI Insights Business Breakfast’ in Leeds – an event with top level industry speakers to be held on the morning of the Show, the 24th March 2015. The event builds on the success of the January MPI Insights event that attracted 90 event planners, agencies, corporates and suppliers to discuss industry changes in London.

Emma Cartmell, CHS managing director said: “Working in partnership with MPI (UK&I), we have created a must attend event in Yorkshire. The breadth and quality of the speakers is extremely relevant to all event buyers and suppliers. We are honoured to have industry stalwart Tony Rogers discuss event trends and the dynamic Leigh Jagger, CEO of Banks Sadler talking about changes in client demands from an agency perspective. MPI UK&I president Miguel Neves will also be attending to present the Meetings Outlook survey results.”

President-Elect of the MPI Board of Directors Richard Parker from Zibrant comments: “We are delighted to be working with CHS to create a really beneficial event for our members. Delegates will gain insider insights from leading associations, buyers and planners who will speak about the latest changes, trends, demands, and economics of events in 2015. This will be followed by the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session, which promises to create a dynamic discussion around needs, demands and innovation in the events industry.”

The Q&A will be with speakers and industry specialists including Jane Baker (FreemanXP), Luke Flett (Ashfield Meetings and Events), Dr Eliza Hixson (Leeds Beckett University), Richard Parker (Zibrant), Chris Lamontagne (GetTaxi) and Dan Walker (Ashfield Meetings and Events).

The MPI Insights Business Breakfast will take place at 8am on Tuesday 24th March at the Leeds Club, Leeds. Delegates will then transfer to The Conference & Hospitality Show at the nearby Centenary Pavilion for more stimulating sessions on careers, innovation, sales and communications.

A share of profits from the MPI Insights Business Breakfast will go to MIMN (Meeting Industry Meeting Needs) on behalf of The Conference and Hospitality Show.
