Master Innholders support Independent Hotel Show

The Master Innholders have pledged their support for this year’s Independent Hotel Show taking place on 20th and 21st October.
Jonathan Raggett, chairman of the Master Innholders and managing director of Red Carnation Hotels, said, “It is with great pleasure that the Master Innholders are supporting the Independent Hotel Show this year. Several Master Innholders, myself included, have had the honour of being invited to speak at the event and fellow Master Innholder Danny Pecorelli has been shortlisted for the Independent Hotelier award.”

Peter Hancock, chief executive of Pride of Britain Hotels will chair The Future of Service seminar and the Intelligent Expansion seminar on Tuesday 20th October. On the same day Nick Holmes, director of NHC Management will chair the Smart Spa Marketing seminar and Andrew Stembridge, managing director of Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa will share experiences and advice on spa design style that meets the needs of a property and its guests during the Spa Stories seminar.  

On Wednesday 21st October, Jonathan Raggett joins a panel in the Business Theatre focussing on the merits of pursuing a career in hospitality. The Creating a Career for Your Staff session will outline the new initiatives, opportunities and incentives hotel owners and operators can offer staff looking to succeed in a career in hospitality as well as how to train and retain high potential recruits.  

Taking place at Olympia West, London next week, the show is a forum that brings together the luxury, boutique and independent hotel sector and presents a diverse collection of the UK's most innovative suppliers. Business seminars featuring expert hoteliers, respected journalists and industry analysts will take place to help independent hoteliers shape their business, tap into new trends and initiatives and learn first-hand from some of the biggest names in the business.
