International Confex has agreed a partnership with the Liverpool Convention Bureau that will see the very best of the city’s meetings and events venues on show at the exhibition next year. The destination returns to the show following its run of recent growth, and adds to an already competitive venue and destination choice for visitors.
On a specially created area showcasing the city, the convention bureau will be joined by the ACC Liverpool, as well as the Titanic Hotel and Rum Warehouse, the Hilton Liverpool, Signature Living, Thornton Mano, and creative production house, Mills Media. On the non-residential venues side, the space will also showcase the University of Liverpool, the St. George’s Hall and Liverpool Town Hall and The Isla Gladstone conservatory.
“This is a really exciting partnership for us and allows us to showcase the very best of Liverpool in front of thousands of corporate and association buyers from across the UK,” commented Jennifer Jensen, Head of Business Tourism, Liverpool Convention Bureau. “We have some great hotels, some beautiful venues and a convention bureau team that can open up the city for meetings and events. We’re looking forward to a really productive few days.”
“We’re delighted to welcome Liverpool and the ACC Liverpool, to Confex once again. It adds further strength to our destination and venue proposition for visitors, and the chance to see some new and well established venues,” commented Liz Agostini, Event Director, Confex. “The show is already looking really strong, and having Liverpool there is one more reason out of many for visitors to come along next year.”
International Confex recently released visitor growth figures of over 35% for its 2017 show and is expecting another boost for its 2018 outing.
