International Confex grows visitors +36%

International Confex
International Confex is reporting a now audited visitor growth performance of over 35% for its 2017 event earlier this year. The exhibition, which included the largest conference programme in the UK events industry, also saw increased visitor traffic across its content, which it will again look to build on next year.

The BPA audited figure shows a 36.1% growth in visitor attendance, a huge jump from its 2016 figures and the largest rise since the exhibition was procured by owners Mash Media. It also represented the biggest attendance at the show in recent years and a return to its ‘pre financial crash’ numbers.

“This is really healthy growth, even more dramatic increase than our initial data showed, and testament to the hard work of our team, our brilliant exhibitors and our many industry partners,” commented Liz Agostini, Event Director, International Confex. “We’re still incredibly ambitious for the show and are looking to take another massive step forward when we return to Olympia, London in February ‘18.”

International Confex is also calling on the industry to support its conference programme by submitting ideas and papers for the event next year. Last year’s programme had over 100 speakers across four different theatres and represented the latest trends and intelligence from the full spectrum of the industry.
