HRS showcases new global look and enhanced technology solutions at the Business Travel Show

Exclusive demos of new HRS Smarthotels app on stand

HRS - Global Hotel Solutions – is inviting visitors to check-in to stand B755 at this year’s Business Travel Show (22 and 23 February) to experience the new HRS Smarthotels app, launching in the UK for the first time.
Demonstrations of this new feature in the free HRS app will be held on stand at the show to give visitors a chance to try out the automated check-in/out system using the latest Beacon technology.

The show will also mark the official launch of the new HRS global branding to the UK market, as well as the opportunity to meet the new UK management team, including managing director Andy Besent and director of corporate sales, Ian Blackie.

During the two-day show, visitors will have the opportunity to hear about how they can make savings and enjoy the best rates through the recently enhanced HRS booking system, which features Multisource. This technology compares prices and availability with affiliated hotel content providers in real time to ensure that customers always receive the best deal.

Andy Besent, Managing Director for HRS in the UK and Ireland, commented: “It’s an exciting time for HRS as we prepare to not only launch our new branding to the UK market, but also showcase the new HRS Smarthotels app which will really simplify the hotel check-in/out experience for guests.

“Furthermore, because convenience and price is a real priority for customers, with business travellers wanting to book their rooms both quickly and easily – without time-consuming price comparisons or redirection to unknown providers - we’re also delighted to be introducing Multisource at the show.  We are committed to auditing rates continuously through intelligent sourcing, and Multisource is the first in a series of new innovations from HRS that will support corporates and business travellers even better as we start to roll it out globally.”

Meanwhile, for those interested in events, HRS will also be demonstrating its comprehensive online meetings booking tool, meetago, a year on from its initial launch to the UK. With access to more than 32,000 conference hotels worldwide via the HRS portal, meetago offers a smooth booking process from strategic procurement to the payment and accounting solutions.

In addition, visitors to the Business Travel Show can benefit from a range of insights from Andy Besent, Managing Director for HRS in the UK and Ireland, who will be delivering a seminar on the ‘Top five technology trends in hotels’ on Wednesday, 22 February at 2:30pm in the Kensington Theatre.

Lukasz Dabrowski, Senior Vice President Hotel Solutions for HRS Group, will also be speaking at the show giving his insights on ‘How can I get more out of my accommodation strategy?’ at 10am on Thursday 23 February in the London Room.
