Awareness of academic venues increases

Buyer interest in academic venues has increased significantly since last year, according to new data from Venuemasters.
The organisation’s free annual exhibition The Academic Venue Show will be full of new faces in 2015, with 66 per cent of buyers registering to visit for the first time. Overall visitor numbers have also risen sharply by 20 per cent compared to the same stage last year.

“Buyers are increasingly aware that academic venues can offer award-winning quality, competitive prices and diverse facilities across the country,” said Natalie Hudson, Marketing and Membership Manager at Venuemasters. “The 2015 Academic Venue Show will give buyers a unique opportunity to talk in person with venues about their needs. So it’s no surprise so many first-time visitors are registering, and we can’t wait to welcome them to the ILEC Centre in London later this month.”

The exhibition takes place from 10am to 4pm on 20th May 2015, at the ILEC Centre in Earl’s Court, London.

Event organisers can discuss their venue needs in person with 40 quality venues from across the UK. The show will feature inspirational seminars by acclaimed restaurant critic Jay Rayner and events industry expert Jackie Mulligan. Attendees can also take advantage of networking opportunities and a wide range of exclusive offers.
