The stunning five-star, cliff-top resort is offering two-night winter packages with three rounds of golf, allowing golfers to walk in the footsteps of champions before this year's victor is crowned, with prices starting at just £249 per person.
The winter package includes two nights' luxury accommodations at the resort, with full Scottish breakfast included; a guaranteed tee time on the Old Course - host venue for July's Open Championship; and two additional rounds of golf on St Andrews Links Trust courses.
Guests also may arrange for an additional round of golf on either of Fairmont St Andrews' two courses - The Torrance, former host of final Open qualifying and six-time venue for the Scottish Senior Open, and The Kittocks - from just £40 per person.
Graeme Dawson, Fairmont St Andrews' leisure sales and marketing manager, said: "If you're going to play the Old Course, there's no better time than in the run-up to an Open Championship at the Home of Golf.
"It gives you a much greater appreciation of the conditions, strategies and nuances that make the Old Course unique. And visiting ahead of the event will allow you to relive the experience with friends and family as you watch the 2015 Open Championship unfold on television at home."
The winter package is bookable until March 31, 2015, and will be available again from November 3, 2015. The five-star Fairmont St Andrews resort - voted IAGTO's European Golf Resort of the Year in 2012 and winner of the award for ‘best large hotel' in the 2014 Scottish Golf Tourism Awards - sits on 520 acres of stunning open coastline overlooking the North Sea and the historic town of St Andrews.
It boasts two championship golf courses - The Torrance and The Kittocks - and has played host to a number of prestigious events, including both the Open Championship's final local qualifying and the Scottish Senior Open, which it has hosted for the past six years.
In addition to golf events, Fairmont St Andrews has also hosted some of the world's most important politicians and powerbrokers as a venue for both Northern Ireland peace talks and a G20 Summit.
As well as exceptional golf and a world-class spa, Fairmont St Andrews includes award-winning dining, luxurious guest accommodation and exceptional service, as well as unfettered access to the charms of the old town of St Andrews itself, the unique Home of Golf.
