Customers who use Apple devices can now add their Stansted Express train tickets to their wallet function.
This new function removes the need for customers to print their e-ticket before travel, they simply unlock their device and scan or show the barcode at the train station ticket gates. It also means that train tickets can be kept in the same handy location as boarding passes, event tickets and coupons so that all-important documents cannot be misplaced and are readily available at the touch of a button.
The ability to pay by PayPal when booking Stansted Express tickets online is another new, easy, safe and protected payment option, and since its introduction in October, around 20% of all transactions via the Stansted Express website are now being made via PayPal.
Eleni Jordan, Head of Sales at Stansted Express, commented: “At Stansted Express we are always looking to improve the customer experience and make the online booking process as quick, simple and convenient as possible. Both these two new functions will help the customer speed through the online process.”
