The arrival of Pret A Manger comes as Eurostar continues to invest in enhancing the customer experience and streamlining the journey through the station.
eGates are now in place in London St Pancras to speed-up the security process, and the lounge is set to welcome World Duty Free in the coming months. With the imminent arrival of a new route to Amsterdam, improvements to the retail space in the London departure lounge will support the increase in passenger volume moving through the station.
Marc Noaro, Chief Customer Officer, Eurostar, said: “At Eurostar, we’re constantly evolving our offer in order to improve the customer experience. With the launch of Pret A Manger in our London lounge, passengers are now able to access quick, fresh and nutritious food as they relax before boarding.”
The new Pret A Manger features the company’s popular menu of organic hot drinks and handmade food, which will be prepared in an on-site dedicated kitchen every day using fresh, high quality ingredients.
Bart Misiala, General Manager of the Pret A Manger shop, said: “We’re pleased that we can now play a part in making it even easier for passengers travelling with Eurostar to find a fresh and delicious meal before travelling. Our fantastic team are trained and ready, and we cannot wait to meet our new customers.”
With the recent introduction of the new Eurostar terminal in Brussels Midi, the new check-in area and Business Premier Lounge in Paris, Eurostar is committed to improving the customer experience.
