MARITIM Hotels goes from strength to strength

MARITIM Hotels is looking positively to the future following a record year end, with an increased turnover of 450.4 million euros, up 16.4 million euros on last year.  The company’s gross operating profit reached 130.2 million euros.   This impressive growth is attributed to a number of factors; the opening of two new hotels, Hotel Galatzo in Mallorca and Crystals Beach Hotel in Mauritius, as well as significant investment towards the upgrade and modernisation of multiple properties in Germany, including Munich, Cologne, Stuttgart and Hannover.

MARITIM Hotels to make its mark in Amsterdam

Continuing with its expansion strategy, MARITIM Hotels has announced its plans for a brand new hotel in Amsterdam.  
The 579 bedroom and suite hotel will be known at the MARITIM Hotel Amsterdam.  Located in the trendy downtown district of Overhoeks, on the banks of River IJ, the hotel promises to change the skyline of this cosmopolitan city.

MARITIM strengthens its UK team

MARITIM Hotels has strengthened its UK team with the appointment of Stephen Smith as Account Manager.  
Stephen, aged 45, has garnered a wealth of experience in the travel industry, having held managerial roles previously at The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism and Beachcomber Tours and Hotels.  
In his new position, Stephen is tasked with marketing MARITIM Hotels within the UK and Irish leisure markets, raising awareness of the brand, its hotel portfolio and its services with this key audience.  His main responsibility is to further develop the leisure side of business, increasing the number of overnight stays across MARITIM’s 36 hotels.

MARITIM Hotels to open in Mallorca on 1 March 2015

MARITIM Hotels will return to the Balearic island of Mallorca in 2015 with the opening of a new 4* hotel in Andratx, on the Costa de la Calma between Santa Ponsa and Paguera.
Known as the MARITIM Hotel Galatzó, the property will open on 1 March 2015 and will boast 172 modern and comfortable rooms, an outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace, two restaurants, a lobby bar with outside terrace and poolside snack bar with barbecue.  There is also a special ‘chill out’ zone with Balinese-inspired furniture and sun loungers.

Maritim modernises in Wuerzburg


Spectacular views over the River Main

The Maritim Hotel and Congress Centre Wuerzburg has been extensively modernised. It is re-opening in March, when event organisers and their delegates will be able to enjoy spectacular views through floor-to-ceiling windows. They look out over the majestic Marienberg Fortress, the Capuchin Monastery, the river Main and the vineyards close to the city.
