Kickoff for the Maritim Hotel Amsterdam

Ground-breaking Event
At a festive "Ground-breaking Event" in Amsterdam, the foundation stone was symbolically handed over for the new Maritim Hotel Amsterdam. The kick-off for the project was initiated by the investor group, INVESTOR United Benefits and IES Immobilien with the Maritim Hotelgesellschaft as the hotel operator.

International hotel chain Maritim is supporting World Environment Day on 5 June by turning mealtimes into motorways. Germany’s largest owner managed hotel group has a long-established sustainability policy including strict waste separation, compulsory in all Maritim hotels.

Maritim Hotels Germany welcomes global religious groups & associations as part of 500th anniversary of Reformation

Maritim Hotels, Germany’s leading family owned hotel group, is set to welcome meetings with religious groups and associations from across the world this year as part of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.  2017 marks the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther nailing his 95 theses to a church door in Wittenberg, effectively beginning the Protestant Reformation.

Maritim: meeting & event trends 2017

This year has seen a number of trends impact the marketplace. Mark Spivey, Director of International Sales, at Maritim Hotels looks ahead to how these trends will evolve in 2017.
Sharing economy: More and more delegates now source their own accommodation through sites such as Airbnb and HomeAway and this looks set to increase in the year ahead. This move away from block bookings makes it more difficult for hotels to offer competitive prices on room blocks for depleted numbers.
