Norman has been running his own consultancy for the past year and a half, following roles as Group Executive Chef for the Malhotra Group, Head Chef of the Feversham Arms Hotel, Executive Head Chef at Oulton Hall Hotel, and before those, Executive Head Chef for Handpicked Hotels.

Hotel Indigo Stratford upon Avon appoints new General Manager

Hotel Indigo Stratford upon Avon, formerly The Falcon Hotel, has appointed a new General Manager ahead of its much-anticipated opening next month. Carl Davies-Phillips joins from InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) where he was General Manager of Holiday Inn Express Cardiff Airport. Carl has worked in the hotel industry since he was 16 years old and previously worked for hotel brands including Marriott, Mercure, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express.

BESydney goes from strength to strength in Europe

BESydney has promoted Peirui Tan as its Director – Europe and Asia commencing 1 April 2019.
The company’s long-term strategy of aligning talent development with future leadership needs will ensure a seamless transition as Ms Tan takes over the role from Martin Boyle, who has led the strategic bidding organisation’s European office for the past six years.
