Westminster Venue Collection, new board members
Westminster Venue Collection, featuring 33 venues in the iconic borough of Westminster, has appointed three new board members to its panel of industry experts.
As the venue consortium grows, three new roles of responsibility have been introduced, drawing upon senior venue professionals with expertise in events and member management to bring new ideas and organisation to the collection.

Management change at the top Messe Stuttgart

Messe Stuttgart has a new management duo / Internationalisation, sustainability and optimisation of the trade fair site on the agenda
Since 1 February, Roland Bleinroth and Stefan Lohnert have been the new management duo of Messe Stuttgart. They have both been working for the company for several years. Roland Bleinroth has been President of Messe Stuttgart since 2006. After the departure of Ulrich Kromer, who retired after 19 years as President on 31 January 2020, Bleinroth takes over his position as CEO.

Lime Venue Portfolio has today announced the arrival of Greg Knight, Business Development Manager for the South of the UK. Greg will take on management of some of LVP’s Preferred Partnerships, as well as agencies working with the brand’s Agent Partner programme. He joins the business from a similar role at etc.venues so brings with him a host of experience to add value to LVP’s growing collection of UK wide venues.

Christian Née appointed as new Executive Chef at Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury, Mauritius

Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury, Mauritius and French Chef Christian Née
The world famous five-star Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury, Mauritius, is delighted to announce the appointment of French Chef Christian Née as the hotel’s new Executive Chef from 1st May 2020.
Christian Née is joining the Royal Palm team with more than 30 years of experience, including a long stint as Executive Chef at two-Michelin-starred restaurant La Pyramide in Vienne, France, and Pavillon Sévigné in Allier, France.

Tracy Winsworth appointed as EDGE Venues MD

EDGE Venues, specialists in global venue sourcing for meetings and events, have appointed Tracy Winsworth into the newly created role of Managing Director.
The appointment comes as Jacqui Kavanagh, CEO of Trinity EDGE Holdings, continues to make further investment into both EDGE Venues and Trinity Event Solutions as the businesses trade under their separate entities.

Jupiter Hotels appoints Lucy McNicoll as new Group Sales Director

Lucy joins Jupiter Hotels as the new Group Director of Sales, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role, having spent more than 30 years in the hotel industry, working for Forte, Marriott, IHG, Apex Hotels and most recently the Amaris Hospitality group, where Lucy was employed as Regional Director of Sales and Head of Sales Support.
