Aurora Expeditions continues to expand its global team with the appointment on 1st December 2019 of James Turner as Business Development Manager based in London serving the United Kingdom.
James Turner comes to Aurora Expeditions with a strong and respectable background in expedition cruising. A cruise specialist with a passion for outdoor life, James’s working life to date has taken him from the Swiss Alps, he’s an accomplished rock climber, to Antarctica and most recently Svalbard, & Greenland expanding his knowledge and reinforcing his commitment to the polar regions.
He joins the team alongside Craig Upshall, Director of Sales for UK & Europe and will be responsible for initiating training and sales support with particular emphasis on tour operators, travel agencies and independent travel consultants.

Demand for the new ship, the Greg Mortimer, which launched in October 2019 has been immense and Aurora Expeditions believe it is a reflection of their small ship ethos, alongside the desire to travel with an expert team on board who know, understand and respect the fragile environments they voyage to.
