Matetsi Victoria Falls is delighted to announce the appointment of Jonathan Hudson as Deputy General Manager of the property. Jono, as he’s known in the industry, joins Matetsi Victoria Falls from his most recent role as General Manager of Great Plains Conservation, Zimbabwe.
With over three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Jono prides himself on delivering service excellence with authentic Zimbabwean hospitality.
Zimbabwean born and raised, Jono began his career in London where he trained in the F&B sectors of The Dorchester Hotel and Sheraton Belgravia Hotel. Since then, he has gained extensive experience working in high-end safari lodges and hotels in Africa and has planted roots in the Victoria Falls region.
Jono joined the team at the beginning of August and has hit the ground running, utilising his well-rounded experience to support the Matetsi Victoria Falls team led by General Manager Franco Rienzo.
