Luton local Anthony Quinn (28) brings a wealth of experience with him to the role at the hotel, which opened at the end of 2018.
Throughout his eight-year career, Anthony has worked his way up the ranks from Commis Chef at Venue 360, to Sous Chef at both Hilton Garden Inn and Blue Arrow Agency, where he worked closely with various chefs across a range of kitchens.
With cookery skills running through his family, Anthony’s appointment to the team at Courtyard by Marriott Luton Airport represents his first Head Chef role.
He said: “I am very excited to start this new chapter at Courtyard by Marriott Luton Airport. I hope that my flair in the kitchen makes for an exceptional dining experience for every guest.
“I come from a ‘foodie’ family. My nan was a baker, my grandad a butcher and my mum still works in the industry, so I hope that passion really comes across in the dishes being served from our new menu.”
The new and improved menu offers a wide variety of dishes from around the world, including aromatic crispy duck, Cambodian street style vegan curry and a new chocolate fondant.
