He brings a 30-year track record of success, spanning the buyer, supplier and technology sides of the industry.
In his new role, Langley will lead the global go-to-market strategy for resellers and re-packagers of Aventri’s end-to-end platform. Among his responsibilities, he will expand the company's reach through new distribution channels and partnerships with product and service providers throughout the industry. He also will direct the go-to-market plan for Aventri’s venue sourcing solution, targeting event planners and hospitality companies.
Previously, Langley held senior leadership positions at premier meetings, events and travel management companies. He served as vice president of Aventri’s global third-party markets, helping planners create new revenue streams and grow their businesses. Earlier in his career, Langley was president and COO at Creative Group, Inc., and president of Nth Degree Events. He also headed up regional sales and operations at Maritz Travel Company. In each of these roles, Langley’s focus on client and employee satisfaction fostered record growth with strong gains in productivity and profits.

Langley is a longtime member of PCMA and MPI and a frequent speaker at industry events. His articles on optimizing events with technology appear regularly in major industry publications. In addition, he has served on the advisory boards of Marriott International, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Langley recently was recognized by BizBash as one of the 2018 Top 30 People in Event Technology. Among his other honors, he is a recipient of SABRE Travel Network’s Peak of Excellence Award for leadership with a focus on customer service.
