Eventist Group, the UK’s leading events company, has appointed Fiona Churchill as sales director.
Fiona joins the team in a pivotal role at an exciting time, with Eventist’s recent acquisition of award-winning event caterer Zafferano and a wealth of large-scale events on the horizon for 2019, including Glastonbury Festival and Paris Air Show.

Responsible for the delivery of revenue targets and new business leads across all five of Eventist’s tributary brands, Fiona’s 20 years of hospitality experience has been sought to provide a strong foundation at Eventist. Well-versed in the dynamics of such a role, Fiona has come from a background of sales management positions at De Vere Hotels, Morgans Hotel Group and most recently, The Jockey Club where she led a team of nine as regional conference and events manager.

On her appointment, Fiona commented: “Working on Eventist’s five brands to offer over half a million annual event attendees unique and memorable experiences is an exciting prospect with a lot of scope for opportunity and growth. I’m excited to put my strategic thinking into practice and get stuck in with the team to develop new goals for the next financial year.”

Tim Stevens, managing director of Eventist Group, commented: “We’re very pleased to be welcoming Fiona onto our senior management team and are confident that she will do a fantastic job overseeing the sales activity for all of our individual businesses, as well as the umbrella Eventist brand. We’ve got a lot going on over the next few months and Fiona’s unparalleled customer service skills and extensive experience will set her up for success at Eventist.”

Eventist champions an innovative and refreshing take on event catering, live events and Christmas parties using the experience of the senior management and the fresh ideas of its team of eventists who plan, style and bring logistics to life.
