Nicholas Granger as General Manager

Les Grandes Alpes Private Hotel, located in the heart of Courchevel 1850, is delighted to announce the appointment of Nicholas Granger as General Manager ahead of the hotel’s seasonal opening this winter.

Granger assumes the new role after two years as Director of Sales & Marketing at Chalet RoyAlp Hotel & Spa, bringing a wealth of industry experience in management operations and sales to Courchevel.  

Granger began his career in hospitality as First Mate and Skipper on luxury yachts.  Throughout his 26-year career Granger has worked in hospitality operations for several luxury hotel brands including Oetker Collection where his position as Director of Sales saw him driving the sales strategy across Hotel du Cap Eden Roc, Chateau Saint Martin & Spa and L’Apogée Courchevel

His earlier experiences cite over six years with Belmond Hotels, and further time spent at Le Grand Hotel 5*, Cannes building integral experience in various aspects of high-end hospitality.

At Les Grandes Alpes Private Hotel, Granger will oversee the ski-in, ski-out property, which comprises 30 guest rooms that can also be configured into nine apartments.  The luxury retreat also features five star facilities including a Spa by Valmont, restaurant Le Bizan, and personal butler service.  

Speaking of his appointment, Granger comments: “I am hugely excited to take on the responsibility of General Manager with the team at Les Grandes Alpes Private Hotel and to work together to put the hotel on the map.   

“Further to this, I am relishing the opportunity to re-establish our luxury chalet experience with the conveniences and services of a five star hotel, offering our guests a refined, relaxed and memorable experience.”
