Saranjit Singh, who was first inspired to cook by his father as part of the family business, has built an impressive CV during the last 10 years. After starting his professional training at The Savoy, Saranjit has spent the last decade honing his craft in hotels across London.
Saranjit now joins the Dartford venue as executive head chef and aims to bring a new style of cuisine to the hotel’s restaurant, which includes fresh British dishes with locally sourced ingredients, while maintaining a hearty and rustic approach.
Talking about his new role, Saranjit said: “Bexleyheath Marriott Hotel is the perfect place for me to showcase my skills and use my industry knowledge to deliver the best possible banqueting and dining experience for our guests.
“The hotel is an excellent match for me, as it represents an opportunity that I know I’ll relish. I believe that innovation and creativity are important for being a successful chef and I know I’ll have the right support to explore mine to the fullest.”
