RIBA Venues recruits Sales and Marketing Manager

RIBA Venues, the conference and events arm of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), based at 66 Portland Place, has announced the appointment of a new Sales and Marketing Manager.  
Kirsten Kruls joins the RIBA Venues team from Imperial College London where she worked as a Business Development Executive. Having worked in the events industry since the age of 19 and across three continents, Kirsten brings a wide range of event experience to RIBA Venues. She has previously worked at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, an events design company in New York and run educational events in South Africa.

Kirsten’s role at RIBA Venues will see her sourcing, targeting and winning new business for the venue and identifying, qualifying and building solid, high-level relationships with new business prospects to help promote and sell RIBA’s sophisticated portfolio of products and services.  

Kirsten says of her new role: “I am delighted to have joined such a unique and diverse events venue. I look forward building long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients, while establishing RIBA Venues as the leading conference and events venue in central London.”
