Jos Dewing takes the helm at Voyages to Antiquity with a clear eye on passenger growth

Award winning discovery cruise line, Voyages to Antiquity has promoted Jos Dewing as managing director to replace David Yellow, who led the business since its launch in 2009 and is stepping down as MD as he transitions towards retirement.
Dewing joined the business as SVP global sales and marketing and MD designate in December 2014 with a remit to support Yellow in the areas of sales and marketing.

Dewing will retain his original remit to clearly define the proposition and engage new audiences, working closely with his five-strong marketing team. He will also focus on a wider brief of steering the business to its next chapter and is specifically charged with increasing awareness and passenger numbers from key international markets which include UK, USA, Canada and Australia.

Dewing brings a wealth of cruise, travel and online experience and knowledge with him. He has held significant roles as GSA at Oceania Cruises (The Cruise Line) – where he launched and established the brand in the UK and The Cruise Line, one of the first cruise specialist travel companies operating in the UK.   

His passion, knowledge and experience in the cruise sector led him to All Leisure Group first as head of marketing and reservations and latterly to director of online, covering the remit of the key brands including Swan Hellenic, Voyages of Discovery and Hebridean Island Cruises.  

Prior to joining Voyages to Antiquity, Dewing returned to The Cruise Line in 2010 as managing director; leading one of the most successful cruise specialist agents and tour operators in the UK that specialises in luxury and ultra-luxury cruise operators.
